Clever Heron Travel Agency is a registered travel agency operating in Sydney, Australia. ABN: 12 345 678 901. We are accredited by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) through the ATAS (AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme).
We provide travel planning, booking, and consultation services including but not limited to:
A booking is only confirmed once we have received the required deposit and issued a confirmation in writing. Verbal agreements or enquiry submissions do not constitute a confirmed booking.
A deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposit amounts vary depending on the service and will be communicated at the time of booking. Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is typically due 60 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received. We reserve the right to pass on any increases in costs from suppliers.
If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees apply:
Some services may have stricter cancellation policies imposed by suppliers. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to insufficient numbers, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date/service.
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation being confirmed. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Travel insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of belongings. We can provide recommendations but do not sell insurance directly.
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents. We can provide guidance but are not responsible for denied entry due to incorrect documentation.
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to travel and have obtained any required vaccinations. Some tours may require a reasonable level of fitness. You must inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely.
We act as an agent for travel service providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators). While we take care in selecting reputable suppliers, we are not liable for:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the travel services booked through us. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
While we strive to ensure all information on our website is accurate, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of descriptions, images, or pricing. Information is subject to change without notice.
